07/04/23: Four films already preparing for release in 2023

2023 is already shaping up to be a busy year. We are currently focused on the release of four films, which are either in post production or compete.

UNLOST in Cornwall is a journey on foot with adventurer and best-selling author Gail Muller to explore the forgotten roots that lie above the soil in the network of trails and footpaths that criss-cross her home county of Cornwall. This film was completed in December 2022 and is due for release in May this year. We will be posting it on all our channels so look out for it. It was an epic film to make and we all learnt things about Cornwall we never knew!

We have been working away with our amazing team that includes editor Dara Mclaron, cinematographer James Hughes, and exec producers Lindsey Dryden and Charlie Philips on Fierce Grace– a beautiful and powerful film focusing on a mother and adult child navigating changing gender identities told through letters addressed to one another. We are currently cutting a short version for the education platform Lyfta, and are creating a longer version of this unique and timely film to be released at festivals later this year.

In March we started editing our film ‘Mermaids of Popoyo’, A short film following an all girl surf club in the male dominated line up in Nicaragua. This is a commission for Lyfta, and will be being released later this year on their educational platform.

Hearing Families is an impactful film that tells the story of two mothers of disabled children who faced endless battles to protect their sons. The film, commissioned by Cornwall Partners in Policy Making, highlights the urgent need to listen to families when managing the care of disabled people. The film is complete and due for release later this Spring.
