Even When I Fall directors attend FEMDOC in Tbilisi, Georgia

Sky Neal and Kate Mclarnon, Directors of Even When I Fall, were invited by Chai Khana to this fab documentary film event in Tbilisi, Georgia on 12th December 2019 to Screen Even When I Fall + Q&A, take part in panel discussions about being a female filmmaker,  and be jury members to decide on who would receive a Chai Khana grant to compete their documentary.

It was an honour to be able to participate in such fascinating conversations about the many things we have to navigate and question as Female filmmakers, and how to work together to challenge and reshape narratives.  It was also very eye opening to learn about regional specific issues. We learnt so much about the individual challenges of this area as well as being moved by the universality of our stories. The quality and creativity of the pitches was hugely inspiring, and we look forward to seeing them all develop.

We were honoured to be able to contribute to this. Thank you for inviting us chai Khana!
